Private James McLoughlin

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present.

James McLoughlin enlisted in the North Irish Horse between 23 and 26 October 1914 (No.1331 - later Corps of Hussars No.71339). He embarked for France with a reinforcement draft 28 April 1915. It is likely that he was posted to A Squadron.

McLoughlin remained with the regiment throughout the war. On 2 March 1919 he was transferred to Class Z, Army Reserve.
